I cannot attest to the waterproofness of this bag but what I can attest to is the fact that this baby holds quite a bit of FULL SIZED products!! Lemme explain: I had body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body butter, deodorant, and face soap all full sized plus travel sized facial moisturizer, serum, hair spray, sunscreen, toothpaste, mouthwash, body oil, and a razor. Plus some meds for a little razzle dazzle.All of that in there and the bag wasn’t full!! It was like magic!What didn’t I like? Those inner elastics didn’t hold anything but my razor. The slots were effin tiny! It was like a joke they were even included in this big ol bag.TLDR: it holds a lot and the drawstring style is great! Unsure if it guards against spills.Just a awesome bag. Love the storage space . It's just quite the bag. It was perfect for our last vacation. Wish you had a few more color options. I would purchase again for myself and for gifts.I use this make up bag on my vanity to keep thin and light skin care containers from constantly falling over so I cannot speak to the durability of it for travel, but it works great for my needs. The outside is some type of soft vinyl, easy to wipe off. The inside is a thicker, maybe filled fabric with a plastic coated bottom. Sides of each compartment are also fabric. They come folded flat. You Velcro them to the sides. I haven’t had any problem with the Velcro not holding. It keeps everything on my vanity neat and well organized so I’m happy with it.Nice thick material, good quality. The drawstrings works well. Can fit a lot and very versatile. When not traveling I use it pool side to carry sun screen, cheap stick, etc..
